About me:

I studied at the Department of Interior Architecture in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
In 1988 I graduated with Master’s Degree with honours at the Furniture Studio run by Prof. Zbigniew Wojcicki.
Six months after graduation, I migrated to Australia. I worked on design projects and architectural drafting for many years. After a long break, in March 2012 I opened Art Studio and took up painting. I draw my inspiration from the surrounded landscape. The environment provides the raw energy that I translate into my own language, which is separating from nature more and more, and becoming abstract. Colour is the most powerful “tool” for me.
It creates, enhances, changes, reveals, and establishes the mood. I understand the power of colour, it fascinates me.
I paint in oil, acrylic and recently I like to use collages. I am constantly experimenting with different techniques and materials in search for unique visual experience. I live and work in Warragul, Victoria, Australia
My works are held in private collections in Canada, Germany, France, Poland and Australia.
Up to this date I had 10 solo exhibitions in Australia and Poland, and participated in 20 collective exhibitions in Australia, Poland, Germany and France.
